the schlächter der meere as captain ardan von salazar is known as is a commander heavily invested in discipline and the belief of the old nordic gods, despite being a memeber of the teutonic order he prays to the old heathen gods and practices the faith with great devotion.
he is a member of the helm that cooperates with the teutonic trade protection corps that spans its influence from europe to the eastern world, he like his cousin is cursed but not by the sea but by the heavens, his ship sank at the cape of good hope and ended up emerging from the deep by the outpost three brothers, this curse left a mark but no limitation, a mark of debt to the heavens, his ship the fallen angel is armed with mortars, culverins at the bow and both sides of the hull and demi cannons at the stern and is a beast in its own right.
a phantom, ghost, a wandering corpse, like his cousin the butcher of the seas, a man that does not know any mercy.
