Strengths

None realy, just a solid fun pve torp build for when you want to be different from all the others.

-Fast ships or ships that move irregular.
-Any fighting at ranges under 150m
-Other humans, torpedoes will NOT travel true human players.
-All sea monsters.

Breakdown

In S3, the Brigantine received a new perk bonuse, aka Bonus Damage to Flooding weapons. So it now has a flat 20% dmg bonus to flooding weapons, and another 20% when the target is flooding.

This means the Brigantine is now the only viable medium hull platform for torpedo damage in the game, capable of sending 4 torps per broadside.
So, there are 2 torps in question so far in the endgame, Rahmas legacy or Endless requiem. With 4 torps per broadside, you have a pretty wide hit angle, and you will need skill and luck to hit with all 4 consistently. 
So why not requiem? The homing system in its current S3 form is pure crap. It cannot tell friend from foe, npc from human and it only goes after the closest ship. So that leaves only one option; Rahmas legacy. 

Keep in mind, all torpedoes can be intercepted by human players, be mindful of when you release the torps.

With this loadout, you ignore the option to ram, this is a ranged dps ship as the torps has a minimum activation range. One can expect around 5k dmg per torpedo (so 20k+ per broadside if all 4 torps hits) on anything but season finale boss and tanky bountys. (that is without the extra 20% dmg from hitting a flooded ship)

Tuning station and Hubac tuning rack helps with the aiming and arming distance. Led kettle and muntions mixer to make shure the target is flooded as long as possible for that extra 20% dmg bonus. The dps of the flooding status effect is completely ignored in this build.
Beam support can be swapped for whatever you see fit. This is a hull lv 1 build, so the final 6th minor furniture can also be whatever you want.
I prefer long cannons front+ rear, but you can use whatever weapon you want, the key point is torps on the broadside. Aux is leopold 3 to help activating the flooding status effect. The S3 bombard; Thousand year monsoon, would be a good companion in this build. Just bring alot of torp ammo, they go realy fast. (i never leave port with less then 1000)
