Fire is not your friend. Make sure you keep restoration kits on hand and use them if you get set ablaze. The healing can't quite keep up with large fire numbers.

General
Park your ship and take aim. The range on your Thunder Dragon Cannons is 400m. Aim at the sails and disable the ship. Your charge stores will give you a nice boost to your lightning strikes. You can hit weakpoints as well for good damage but the sails give you the most bang for your buck. Once the ship is disabled, you can pound the enemy in with your Storm Vigil. You can activate two volleys, so target weak points to destroy if you need to repair some severe damage. The Urban Great Guns hit really hard so having them in a pinch for the blind spots and longer range is nice.

Front
I use the Urban Great Gun in the front and back to easily disable sails outside of 400m.
Side
Thunder Dragon Cannons focusing on sails for the most damage and to disable the ships for your Storm Vigil to rain hell down on the enemy.
Other Informations
Don't forget restoration kits because Fire dots can drop you quickly.
