Description
Garuda's loadout optimized around pierce and electric damages
Strengths
- Extremely high DPS - Variety of status - gives versatilty - Great synergy between pure DPS and status that deal even more DPS
Weaknesses
- Doesn't mitigate Garuda's inherent low mobility - Limited defense option: you're basically a glass cannon
Loadout
Open in DesignerBreakdown
Let's wake storm upon your preys ! This loadout is entirely dedicated to exploit as much damages as you can:
- Garuda's perks on long range attacks and pierce damages.
- Pierce status utility to increase further your DPS output.
- Electric status for its great synergy with pierce, long range gameplay, and, again, DPS output.
Front weapons:
As now well known, they're the first tool of a fully upgraded Garuda, and Divine Thunder are a reference, featuring both good raw DPS, and good electric and piercing effect score (20% for both). So let's exploit these strengths.
Broadside weapons:
I consider broadside weapons secondary to front weapons on Garuda, explaining the non-long guns pick:
- Mandate will benefit from electric status and help building it up -which can be long on some ennemies.
- Faule are great to rely on piercing asset, but remember they're very close range tool and are likely to be barely used: purely defensive tools.
- Basilisk as a good 3rd option for piercing culverins.
Rear weapons:
Nashkar are picked upon the assumption you don't use rear weapons but for retreat tactics: therefore, heal can be usefull.
Aux weapons:
- The Eye of Heaven is defenitely the more suitable solution for its long range as a mortar, and benefiting from electric status improvement.
- Plaguebringer springloader works great if you seek for a bit more defense.
Furniture:
Teuling's guidance has become a standard but I expect Scoping Station to propose a good alternative. The other furnitures are picked to optimize synergy between pierce and electric status, so not much to say about it.
Hull:
More flexible options, according to your gameplay style:
- Oath is the DPS oriented choice, as long as you can activate its perk with surrounding weak "minions" targets.
- Black Prince synergizes very well with Garuda's defensive perk.
- Tanasha is a must have against any "strong with status" ennemy (Hello Vik' !)
